Monica Elliott is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in working with infants, children, adolescents, and their families. Remaining deeply grounded in attachment-based and trauma-informed care, Monica is passionate about helping caregivers and children build secure, attuned relationships that foster connection, resilience, and emotional well-being.

Monica integrates play therapy, narrative storytelling, and reflective parenting approaches to support children experiencing challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and the effects of trauma. She creates a warm, responsive environment where children can express themselves freely, caregivers feel supported, and families can rediscover connection through play, curiosity, and mutual understanding.

Monica earned her Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary’s School of Psychology. She has provided therapy in community mental health settings and schools, collaborating with families to address a wide range of developmental, emotional, and behavioral needs.

Monica’s approach centers on the belief that healing begins in relationship—through presence, playfulness, and compassion. She values the power of early intervention, reparenting, and cultivating wonder as pathways to growth and joy.

Outside of her clinical work, Monica enjoys ceramics, poetry, and time spent in nature, often exploring botanical gardens or watching for birds.
